HOW DOES THIS CAMPAIGN WORK?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n1. Plastic caps are collected<\/strong> in two large cardboard boxes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n .<\/strong> One next to the drinks machines on the ground floor where the offices are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n .<\/strong> The other in the museum staff dining room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n2. When the container is full, we call Fundaci\u00f3n Seur, which comes to collect them and takes them to a recycling<\/strong> company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n3. The money earned by recycling the caps<\/p>\n\n\n\n
is given directly to the families of these children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WHAT HAS BEEN THE RESULT OF TAPS PER A UNA NOVA VIDA<\/em>?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2020, 55 kilos of plastic bottle caps were collected at the museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since this campaign started in August 2017, 240 kilos of caps <\/strong>have been collected.<\/p>\n\n\n\nFundaci\u00f3n Seur has helped 171 boys and girls with nearly \u20ac1,200,000 raised<\/p>\n\n\n\n
by the recycling of 6,542 tons of caps, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
which has prevented the emission of 8,198 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/p>\n\n\n\n
WHAT CAMPAIGNS ARE WE PREPARING FOR THIS YEAR?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now that a lot of people have been vaccinated and the pandemic<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nis a bit more controlled, the museum staff <\/p>\n\n\n\n
are looking forward to organizing solidarity campaigns again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the one hand, we want to continue with the campaigns that we were already doing<\/p>\n\n\n\n
before Covid-19, provided the health situation allows us to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other, we are thinking about a new solidarity action<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\nin which the museum staff will be fully involved, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
making use of everyone\u2019s particular personal skills to help those in need.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
