A collection of coins and notes has been also donated by Mr God\u00f3 himself. These acquisitions allow the collection of the GNC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museunacional.cat\/en\/at-a-glance\/numism%C3%A0tica\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the Numismatic Cabinet of Catalonia<\/a> to be completed and to fill gaps in the collection.<\/li><li>Based around the exhibition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museunacional.cat\/en\/ismael-smith-beauty-and-monsters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ismael Smith, the beauty and the monsters<\/a> held in 2017, the museum has acquired two masks and has received the donation of a jewel and two drawings by the artist.<\/li><li>Donation of photographs by <strong>Josep Maria Casals i Ariet<\/strong> made by his daughter Gabriela. This includes 254 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museunacional.cat\/en\/bromoil-transfer-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bromoil transfers<\/a>, 1,164 coloured slides and a wide repertoire of copies of work.<\/li><li>Through the <a href=\"http:\/\/cultura.gencat.cat\/ca\/departament\/estructura_i_adreces\/organismes\/dgpcc\/subdireccio_general_de_promocio_cultural\/Ambits\/arts-visuals\/index.html\">Integral Plan of Visual Arts<\/a> of the Generalitat de Catalunya a work by <strong>Magda Bolumar<\/strong> has been acquired, as well as one by <strong>J. Fin<\/strong> and one by <strong>Francesc Tod\u00f3<\/strong>.<\/li><li>A post-war painting has also by received through a donation, by the artist <strong>Ramon Llovet. <\/strong><\/li><li>It is also worth highlighting the purchase of a photograph by <strong>Joan Vilatob\u00e0<\/strong> and the acquisition of two drawings by <strong>Antoni Gaud\u00ed<\/strong>, with the representation of the interior and exterior of the church of the Col\u00f2nia G\u00fcell.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Conservation, restoration and research<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure out for the new presentation of the galleries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contemporary works of art destined to the <em>Liberxina<\/em> exhibition and the Post-war galleries have posed new challenges of conservation for the preservation and restoration staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a Numismatics&nbsp;<\/a>entitled <strong>Treasures and monetary findings: protection, study and musealization.<\/strong>&nbsp; 5 talks, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museunacional.cat\/zips\/Llibre%20de%20resums.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">63 communications and 5 posters<\/a> were presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Connecting with the audiences<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/en\/gothic-the-comic-the-making-of\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gothic<\/a>, by the writer Jorge Carri\u00f3n and the artist Sagar Fornies, in which they explore the collection of Gothic art of the Museu Nacional through this visual language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ca.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Perico_Pastor_i_Bodmer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Perico Pastor<\/a> painted a large awning, full of dancing words in the collaborative workshop <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museunacional.cat\/en\/activities\/el-gran-envelat-big-draw-2018\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Big Draw 2018<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure students from the <strong>Institut Juan Manuel Zafra&nbsp;<\/strong>of the neighbourhood of Clot of Barcelona spent <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/en\/a-night-at-the-museum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a night at the museum.<\/a> It formed part of the artistic research that they had carried out in the museum throughout the course within the framework of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.enresidencia.org\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">InResidence<\/a>.&nbsp;As a result of their research in the space of educArt of the museum you could visit&nbsp;<em><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/en\/a-night-at-the-museum\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">From six to six<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The collection travels out of the museum<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The museum has continued its line of&nbsp;international loans. noreferrer\">Arts in Health<\/a> of the State gathered together around 50 professionals from museums and from the health sector with the participation of notable international experts, to spread and debate about the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/en\/arts-and-health-challenges-and-opportunities\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">contributions that art can have in the information, to be able to do a better planning in terms of the tasks to be carried out, and improving the organisation, as well as fostering the involvement of the team in the life of the
