
{"id":13305,"date":"2018-05-17T11:05:38","date_gmt":"2018-05-17T09:15:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/?p=13305"},"modified":"2020-05-04T17:24:47","modified_gmt":"2020-05-04T17:24:47","slug":"stories-in-the-museums-for-rebel-children","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/en\/stories-in-the-museums-for-rebel-children\/","title":{"rendered":"Stories in the museums for rebel children"},"content":{"rendered":"<h6>Norma V\u00e9lez<\/h6>\n<p>An activity for families with the aim of <strong>highlighting the value of the role of women in the fields of research and creation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>An experience of the working group <em>Museums and audiences<\/em><\/h3>\n<p>5 museums have jointly organised ourselves to offer the activity <em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.museunacional.cat\/en\/activities\/contes-als-museus-nenes-rebels-tales-museum-rebellious-girls\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Stories in the museums for rebel children<\/a><\/strong>: <\/em>as well as the Museu Nacional<em>, <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/museuciencies.cat\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Museu de Ci\u00e8ncies Naturals<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mmb.cat\/index.php?idm=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Museu Mar\u00edtim<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/ajuntament.barcelona.cat\/museudeldisseny\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Museu del Disseny<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mac.cat\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Museu d\u2019Arqueologia<\/a>. The initiative has emerged from the working group<em> Museums and audiences<\/em>, made up of professionals from education, activities and management of audiences from various Catalan museums.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/imatge_16-9_x1500.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13281\" title=\"Contes als museus per a nenes rebels\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/imatge_16-9_x1500.jpg\" alt=\"Contes als museus per a nenes rebels\" width=\"620\" height=\"347\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/imatge_16-9_x1500.jpg 1381w, https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/imatge_16-9_x1500-300x168.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/imatge_16-9_x1500-768x430.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/imatge_16-9_x1500-1024x574.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <em>Museums and audiences <\/em>group allows us to share information, experiences, problems, learning and new approaches, and also generates joint projects.\u00a0 Last summer we held for the first time the questions and answers quiz, <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/en\/museum-quiz-summer-tour-the-trivial-pursuit-of-the-museums-this-summer\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Museum Quiz Summer Tour<\/em><\/a><em>, <\/em>which aimed to attract the youth audience.\u00a0 The experience was so satisfactory that we are already working on the second edition.\u00a0 This year we\u2019re back again ready for this new activity, which aims to vindicate the role of the woman in society.<\/p>\n<h3>The stories: women protagonists<\/h3>\n<p>On Saturday afternoons this spring, the <em>Stories in the museums for rebel children<\/em> <strong>have approached the smallest ones to the lives of two women related to the theme of each centre<\/strong>. Inspiring models and the protagonists, all of them, of stories that didn\u2019t revolve around prince charmings.<\/p>\n<h3>The value of collaborative work<\/h3>\n<p>The activity has allowed us to incorporate some extraordinary women into the storytelling of the museums and has been highly successful in terms of audiences, the presence in the media, and with very satisfactory feedback surveys.\u00a0 Furthermore, organizing joint activities with other facilities has allowed us to multiply ideas and knowledge in the conception, development and evaluation of the proposal.\u00a0 All in all, improving the quality of the results and the learning of the teams involved.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3002-1.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-13297\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3002-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"620\" height=\"436\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3002-1.jpg 3801w, https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3002-1-300x211.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3002-1-768x541.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.museunacional.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_3002-1-1024x721.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 620px) 100vw, 620px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The process turned out to be much more pleasant and the support of other centres was ensured. Contacts, tips, cables and other belongings go to and fro, from one centre to another.
