These involve collaboration with international museums and the display of themes and artists directly related to the museum\u2019s permanent collection, building bridges and establishing new interpretations with the major international artistic movements.<\/p>\n<h3>Exhibitions<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.museunacional.cat\/en\/william-morris-and-arts-crafts-great-britain\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>William Morris and Company: the Arts and Crafts Movement in Great Britain<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The first major exhibition that the museum will present in 2018 is the one dedicated to William Morris and the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Arts_and_Crafts_movement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arts and Crafts<\/a> movement, organized jointly with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.march.es\/arte\/madrid\/exposiciones\/william-morris\/?l=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fundaci\u00f3 Juan March<\/a>. Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas, Madrid<\/p><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/William_Morris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">William Morris<\/a> is one of the most important figures in British arts, letters and culture of the late 19th century. In order to do so, the collaboration of the Victoria &amp; Albert Museum and the British Museum has been essential. T<span lang=\"en\">he works come largely from the Gala Salvador Dal\u00ed Foundation, as well as from the Dal\u00ed Museum in Saint Petersburg (Florida), the Haggerty Museum of Art (Milwaukee), the Pompidou Center (Paris) and other museums and private collections. <\/span>It can be visited at the Museum from 5 July to 14 October 2018.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.museunacional.cat\/es\/el-arte-las-puertas-del-68-pop-y-nuevas-practicas-artisticas-en-catalu%C3%B1a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Art at the Gates of 1968: Pop and New Artistic Practices in Catalonia<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>One of the novelties for 2018 will be the start of a series of exhibitions focusing on the 1950s, 60s and 70s. The show will portray a moment of tension and enthusiasm that opened the doors to a new sensibility.<\/p>\n<p>Curated by \u00c0lex Mitrani and Inma Prieto, it is planned for November-December 2018.<\/p>\n<h3>Changes in the collection<\/h3>\n<p id=\"tw-target-text\" class=\"tw-data-text tw-ta tw-text-small\" dir=\"ltr\" data-placeholder=\"Translation\"><span lang=\"en\">The approach we make of the collection is no longer permanent, but changing. Romero. <em>Room<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the rooms dedicated to the Civil War, in the Modern Art collection, the works by Archivo F. X. will be exhibited based on the <em>Psychotechnical Checas<\/em> by Alphonse Laurencic installed in the churches in Carrers Vallmajor and Saragossa in Barcelona and in the convent of Santa \u00darsula in Valencia from 1937 to 1939.<\/p>\n<p>This installation is part of the work done by the artist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.museoreinasofia.es\/en\/coleccion\/autor\/romero-pedro-g\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pedro G. Artur Ramon Collection<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In the second half of 2018 the museum will take a small anthological exhibition of works by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museunacional.cat\/en\/advanced-piece-search\/15219\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Juli Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong> <\/a>to Brazil.
